Mr. Lieutenant Commander of the Colombian Navy Ferney Martínez Ossa and researcher of the Corporation of Science and Technology for the Development of the Naval, Maritime and River Industry COTECMAR, is currently conducting a research stay in the Security and Audit Group -GSYA-, as part of the activities of the Doctorate in Advanced Information Technology taught at the University of Castilla La Mancha. The Colombian Navy Officer, with the support of the GSYA Group, is developing his research within the framework of Cybersecurity focused on the maritime field, addressing high-impact issues related to science and technology, mitigation and risk management in the maritime sector, as well as identification and improvement of policies, procedures and cybersecurity tools oriented to this sector, given its great importance within the industrial and military fabric. In the course of the research, a comprehensive naval security framework will be developed, a pioneer in the sector, aligned with the MARISMA Framework for Risk Analysis and Management.
