Proyecto de Ciberseguridad Marítima "Poseidón" del Grupo GSyA hace presencia en las X Jornadas Doctorales de la UCLM

On November 25, the Security and Audit Group -GSyA- of the Higher School of Informatics of the University of Castilla-La Mancha participated in the 'X Doctoral Conferences of the UCLM' held on the Albacete campus, with one of its leading research projects called Poseidón.

The meeting was attended by more than 300 doctoral students from different branches of knowledge - Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Legal Sciences, and Engineering and Architecture. Among the almost 100 proposals presented in the branch of Engineering and Architecture, Lieutenant Commander of the Colombian National Navy and GSyA Group member Ferney Martínez Ossa presented the results of the first phase of the research work “Maritime Cybersecurity: background and strategies facing a global need”, an initiative that under the leadership of the UCLM and the support of the Science and Technology Corporation for the Development of the Naval, Maritime and River Industry COTECMAR aims to build a naval cybersecurity framework that provides greater efficiency in technological risk management in the maritime field.

Throughout the day, the poster, which was highly accepted among the attendees for its thematic originality and design, allowed socialization among the scientific community regarding the scope and progress of the naval cybersecurity risk management study.

Similarly, during the day, the capabilities of the GSyA Group in different research lines were made known: Security in Cyber-Physical Systems and IoT, Risk Analysis and Management, Security Management and Evaluation, Security Metrics, Security Ontologies, among others.
