Our colleagues David G. Rosado and Eduardo Fernández-Medina of the GSyA Research Group will lead for the next 2 years the project ALBA, where Luis Enrique Sánchez and Antonio Santos-Olmo from GSyA also participate, and Manuel A. Serrano from the ALARCOS research group.

In ALBA, it will be proposed to contribute to the ecological transition through the environmental objective of climate change mitigation, introducing the dimension of sustainability and energy consumption in cybersecurity mechanisms, technologies and processes, which is identified as one of the key technological developments of the digital transition.

The project is funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union “NextGenerationEU”/PRTR. It is a coordinated project with members of the University of Seville and the University of Cantabria.
