Investigadores del GSyA de la UCLM destacan en el 21º Congreso Internacional IEEE sobre Sistemas Móviles Ad-Hoc e Inteligentes
Seoul, South Korea – The GSyA research team from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) recently participated in the 21st International Conference on Mobile Ad-Hoc and Smart Systems (IEEE MASS 2024), held from September 23 to 25, 2024. During the event, the team presented two highly valued works, one of which, by Mirko De Vincentiis and Manuel Serrano, was awarded as the "Best Work" in the ESPTA workshop.
The congress addressed a wide range of topics, such as communication between commercial use satellites, new IoT technologies and specific research by the GSyA team. The projects presented were MARISMA-CAR, a preliminary approach for risk assessment in automotive security, and VESTAL, a framework for personal and domestic cybersecurity.
The project MARISMA-CAR, titled "A Preliminary Approach to Risk Assessment in Automotive Security", was co-authored by Vita Santa Barletta, Danilo Caivano, Mirko De Vincentiis, Luis Enrique Sánchez, Antonio Santos-Olmo and Manuel A. Serrano. On the other hand, the VESTAL framework, presented under the title "Towards a Framework for Personal and Domestic Cybersecurity", was developed by Ángel Suárez-Bárcena, Carlos M. Braga, Antonio Santos-Olmo and Eduardo Fernández-Medina.
