At the Embassy of Colombia in Spain, a high-level meeting was held in which Lieutenant Commander Ferney Martínez Ossa presented the progress of his doctoral studies in Advanced Informatic Technologies from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. The activity, which is part of the efforts of the Security and Audit Group (GSyA), was attended by the Military Naval Attaché, the Embassy's Head of Communications, and the Ambassador of Colombia in Spain.

The GSyA member emphasized the benefits of his research for the Colombian Navy (ARC) and COTECMAR, especially in strengthening technological capabilities and risk management in the maritime field. Furthermore, he presented the development of the Risk Analysis Framework named POSEIDON, which is a central part of his doctoral thesis and proposes to be a tool destined to evaluate and mitigate technological risks in the naval sector, aligned with international regulations.

The exhibition included a review of GSyA's capabilities in topics such as emerging technologies and risk analysis in different environments (maritime, horizontal vehicles, health, military, among others), highlighting its experience in vanguard projects. The Ambassador of Colombia in Spain expressed that the activity reinforces the commitment to continue advancing in research and development in the maritime sector, boosting the modernization of the Colombian Navy's capabilities and COTECMAR. The meeting sought to promote future academic and technological collaborations, highlighting GSyA as a regional reference in cybersecurity and risk management.
