The delegation from the Technical University of Ambato (Ecuador), headed by its rector, Dr. Sara Camacho Estrada, held an institutional meeting with the director of the Institute of Information Systems Technology (ITSI) of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Ignacio García Rodríguez de Guzmán.

During the meeting, representatives of both institutions toured the ITSI facilities and learned firsthand about some of the technology-based companies that emerged within the UCLM. They also visited the weCareLab, a pioneering laboratory in research applied to the health field, which constitutes a prominent example of how university research can be oriented towards the improvement of society, especially in areas as sensitive as healthcare.
