El grupo GSyA presenta avances del framework POSEIDON para la ciberseguridad marítima en JNIC 2025

Within the framework of the X National Cybersecurity Research Conference (JNIC 2025), held at the University of Zaragoza, Lieutenant Commander Ferney Martínez continued the GSyA group's participation with the lecture titled: "Maritime Cybersecurity in the digital age: Evaluation and validation of planning in POSEIDON".

The intervention, set in the Research track and within the session dedicated to Security in strategic sectors, presented the latest developments of the POSEIDON framework, an integral proposal oriented at cybersecurity governance in maritime environments, encompassing both civil and military operational infrastructures.

During the lecture, the results of a case study carried out on a dual Colombian Navy ship were presented, specifically focused on planning processes and decision support mechanisms in cybersecurity matters. This practical application allowed validating POSEIDON's methodological approach, demonstrating its usefulness for evaluating maturity levels, prioritizing risks and establishing response strategies in complex and distributed naval systems.

The proposal stands out for its multidimensional approach, integrating technical, organizational and regulatory aspects, and reinforcing the need for specific cybersecurity models adapted to the maritime domain, a sector increasingly digitalized and exposed to hybrid threats.

With this contribution, the GSyA group strengthens its leadership in the field of applied sectorial cybersecurity, providing solutions adapted to high-sensitivity strategic scenarios.
