David García Rosado is appointed Professor of Languages and Information Systems

Our colleague David García Rosado has successfully completed the assessment process for appointment to the body of University Professors, in the area of Languages and Information Systems. The post, advertised by the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), is based at the School of Computer Science (ESI) on the Ciudad Real Campus, where David carries out his academic work.

During the evaluation process, David defended his career before the panel, presenting his most relevant achievements in Teaching, Research, Knowledge Transfer and University Management. In the field of research, he highlighted his main contributions to cybersecurity, particularly in risk management, the protection of information systems, security in industrial and IoT environments, and security in software engineering. He also underlined his involvement in numerous teaching initiatives and his collaboration with international researchers.

David wished to express his gratitude to all those who have accompanied him on this journey. In particular, he highlighted the role of the GSyA group, his main research environment, with which he has developed much of his academic, scientific and knowledge transfer career. He also expressed his thanks to his colleagues at ALARCOS and the ESI.

Most especially, he dedicated this achievement to his family, who accompanied and supported him on such an important occasion, and who have been a fundamental part of this personal and professional milestone.

On behalf of the research group, we would like to congratulate David on reaching this important milestone, the result of a career marked by commitment, sustained work and a strong vocation for university life.
