The Security and Audit Group (GSyA) of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) participated on 23 October 2026 in the fourth in-person meeting of the consortium of the European project Di4SPDS (Distributed Intelligence for Enhancing Security and Privacy of Decentralised and Distributed Systems), funded within the framework of the European programme CHIST-ERA. The meeting took place at Fırat University, in Elazığ (Turkey), and brought together researchers from the four participating institutions: LUT University (Finland), Nantes Université (France), Fırat University (Turkey) and the UCLM (Spain).

During the day, the partners reviewed the status of the work carried out, the results achieved and the pending activities, with special attention to the coordination of the tasks necessary to complete the scientific and technological objectives of the project. The programme included presentations from each of the participating universities, as well as a session dedicated to exploring new collaboration opportunities and future joint projects.

Di4SPDS aims to improve the security and privacy of decentralised and distributed systems through the development of innovative solutions based on distributed intelligence, advanced access control mechanisms, collaborative intrusion detection and dynamic management of cybersecurity risks.

In this context, GSyA plays a prominent role in research on evidence-based analysis and dynamic risk management, also incorporating sustainability criteria to promote more efficient and adaptive cybersecurity solutions.

This meeting has constituted a new step in the consolidation of the project's results and has reinforced the international collaboration between the participating institutions, promoting new research opportunities in the field of cybersecurity for distributed systems.
