GSyA participates in the International Conference on Information Security and Cryptology ISC Türkiye 2026
The Security and Auditing Group (GSyA) of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) has participated in the 19th International Conference on Information Security and Cryptology (ISC Türkiye 2026), held on 20 and 21 October in Ankara (Turkey).
The group's representation was composed of the researchers Eduardo Fernández-Medina, Antonio Santos-Olmo and Ángel Suárez-Bárcena, who participated in this international event that brings together researchers, cybersecurity experts, institutional representatives and sector professionals to analyse the main current challenges in information security and cryptology.
GSyA's contribution has been focused on dynamic risk analysis in cybersecurity based on evidence, a line of research aimed at improving the identification, assessment and management of security risks through the incorporation of updated information and evidence. This approach enables more dynamic and adaptive risk analysis processes, capable of responding to the evolution of threats and changes in technological environments.
Under the motto «Cyberwars in the new world order», this edition of the conference has addressed issues of particular relevance such as cyber resilience and deterrence, the protection of technological platforms, new digital threats and the challenges associated with cyber espionage and international technological competition.
Participation in ISC Türkiye 2026 reinforces GSyA's international presence and its commitment to the development of innovative methodologies for the management of cybersecurity, as well as to the exchange of scientific knowledge and collaboration between institutions.
