Our colleague David García Rosado has received the Best Research Paper Award in Cybersecurity, granted by the Institutional Chair in Cybersecurity of the JCCM and UCLM, with a prize of €1500. This award not only acknowledges the scientific excellence of the work but also highlights the importance of international collaboration, particularly with the University of Essex, in addressing global cybersecurity challenges.
The awarded paper, titled “Managing Cybersecurity Risks of Cyber-Physical Systems: The MARISMA-CPS pattern”, is the result of a joint effort between researchers from the GSYA group (Antonio Santos-Olmo, Luis E. Sánchez, Carlos Blanco, and Eduardo Fernández-Medina), the Alarcos group (Manuel A. Serrano), and Haris Mouratidis from the University of Essex, United Kingdom. This cross-border, multidisciplinary collaboration has enabled a broader and more robust approach to cybersecurity issues in cyber-physical systems.
