The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) and the School of Computer Science in Ciudad Real, through their Research Group in Security and Audit (GSyA), have been selected as part of the European program Chist-Era to develop a project focused on Security and Privacy in Decentralized and Distributed Systems. This grant has been materialized as part of the Procedure for Granting Aid to Selected Projects in International Competitive Calls (International Collaboration Projects), under the State Plan for Scientific, Technical, and Innovation Research 2021-23.

The project, 'Distributed Intelligence for Enhancing Security and Privacy of Decentralised and Distributed Systems' (Di4SPDS), led by Antonio Santos-Olmo and Eduardo Fernández-Medina, is part of the 2022 call for projects from Chist-Era, standing out in a critical field that addresses the challenges of security and privacy exacerbated by the growing decentralization and distribution of computing applications.

The project will be developed in collaboration with partners from Finland (leaders of the consortium), France and Turkey, and demonstrates the commitment of UCLM and the GSyA group to contribute to the technological forefront, aiding the advancement of research and development in sectors such as blockchain, IoT, and cloud computing.
